Road Marking
(Highways & Local Authority)
We deliver permanent and temporary road marking solutions for S278 schemes, local highways, and maintenance contracts, supporting contractors and local authorities across a wide range of projects.
All works are planned and executed with safety, precision, and compliance at the forefront—meeting UK traffic regulations, DfT performance specifications, and local authority standards. Our integrated services cover marking installation, removals, surface preparation, and traffic management, ensuring a seamless process from planning to completion.
Every project is delivered through trained operatives, calibrated equipment, and a commitment to environmental responsibility and long-term performance.
S278 Works
We carry out S278 and Section 38 works for new junctions, access roads, and development connections to the public highway. Our teams coordinate with civils, surfacing, and utilities contractors to ensure installation aligns with construction sequencing and safety planning.
Using thermoplastic, cold-applied MMA, or paint-based systems, we deliver markings that are both compliant and durable under high-traffic conditions. All works follow Chapter 5 of the Traffic Signs Manual and Specification for Highway Works Series 1200 guidance for accuracy and longevity.
Our focus on safe site management, sustainable materials, and traffic continuity ensures smooth project delivery from first coat to final inspection.
Support for Contractors
We provide specialist marking teams, plant, and safety documentation (RAMS) to support principal contractors and sub-contract partners. Whether for new infrastructure, maintenance, or refresh programmes, we integrate easily into your project plan.
Our fleet includes airless spray units, extrusion thermoplastic machines, and hand-application systems for versatility on site. We can also deliver cold-applied MMA marking and anti-skid integration, ensuring specification compliance for long-term performance zones such as crossings and roundabout approaches.
All operatives are LANTRA-qualified, and our approach prioritises site safety, communication, and sustainable working methods to reduce environmental impact and rework.
Local Highways & Borough Support
For local authorities and maintenance contractors, we provide road marking, refresh, and remedial services across footways, cycle routes, school zones, and residential estates.
Our service includes:
- ● Line refresh and reinstatement for visibility and safety.
- ● Reflective markings for pedestrian and cycle segregation.
- ● Eco-efficient materials with low-VOC, long-wear formulations to reduce maintenance frequency.
We support planned maintenance schedules and emergency callouts, ensuring safe and compliant networks with minimal disruption to public access.
Road Marking Removal
We offer controlled mechanical removal and UHP hydroblasting to remove outdated or redundant markings without damaging the underlying surface.
Hydroblasting uses high-pressure water only, making it a dust-free, environmentally friendly method that preserves road texture and surface performance. For structured removals, mechanical abrasion or retexturing can be used where rapid turnaround is essential.
All removal work is planned to maintain traffic safety and surface integrity, following industry best practice and HSE safety standards.
Temporary Markings
Our temporary road markings provide high-visibility guidance during roadworks, lane shifts, or construction phases. These are designed for easy removal or overmarking, leaving no permanent ghosting.
We offer a range of materials, from removable tape and temporary paints to cold-applied MMA, depending on site duration and weather conditions.
Planning includes traffic management integration, ensuring all markings meet temporary traffic order (TTO) and Chapter 8 compliance.
Every temporary system is selected for safety, clarity, and sustainability, balancing performance with ease of removal.

High-Performance Products
We specify MMA-based markings, high-friction surfacing (HFS), and cold-applied systems for areas requiring increased grip, longevity, or colour stability.
These products are ideal for pedestrian crossings, junction approaches, and cycle interfaces, providing superior skid resistance and durability. Our range includes low-VOC and solvent-free formulations, supporting sustainable, long-life infrastructure maintenance.
